All volunteers are required to obtain clearances in accordance with the State of Pennsylvania, Child Protective Services Laws.  Further information from the state of Pennsylvania can be found at the link below

The DEC PTA Clearance Requirements

1. Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance

2. Pennsylvania State police Criminal history clearance

             3. Disclosure Statements for Volunteers---If have resided in Pennsylvania for the past 10 years

OR

FBI Criminal History Background Check---If have resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past 10 years.
